Owner’s supervision for private houses and commercial buildings

The owner’s supervisor represents you on the construction site: visits the site, checks work before it is covered up and checks the volume of work before an invoice is paid. As a result, you get a building that complies with the design and building requirements.

What owner’s supervision includes

Defects often remain hidden under the foundation, reinforcement or insulation and only come to light years later. The aim of supervision is that you pay only for work done properly and receive a building that complies with the design.

We stand on the Client’s side. We check the work as if we were building for ourselves.

How owner’s supervision works

01

Review of the design and contract

We study the design, the construction contract and the schedule.

02

Site visits

We visit the site at the agreed frequency and always before concealed work is covered.

03

Checking before payment

We check the volume of completed work before each invoice is paid.

04

Acceptance

We take part in the handover of the building and check that defects are remedied.

Frequently asked questions about owner’s supervision

It depends on the type of building and whether a building permit is required. We will find out whether owner’s supervision is required for your project.

Yes. We provide owner’s supervision on projects that MDL does not build itself, so that the supervision is independent of the contractor.

They represent the Client on site: check the quality of the work and its compliance with the design, monitor the schedule and budget, and take part in the acceptance of the building.

The price depends on the size of the project and the duration of construction. Describe your project and we will prepare a quote.
