Building surveys and engineering

We assess the condition of buildings and structures, review construction designs and design structures for commercial, industrial and warehouse buildings and private houses.

What building surveys and engineering include

When walls are cracking, the roof is sagging or it is unclear before a purchase whether the structures will hold, an engineer’s assessment is needed. For new buildings, we design the structures and carry out structural calculations. As a result, you receive an engineer’s assessment or a design and specific solutions on which to base your decisions.

We give our assessment according to what we see in the structures, not according to what someone would like to hear.

Our engineers design reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel and timber structures, take seismic loads into account where necessary and prepare shop drawings for factory-made elements.

Frequently asked questions about building surveys

A building survey is needed when you want to assess the condition of a building or its structures, check whether a design meets requirements, or find out the causes of construction defects. A survey is often ordered before buying or reconstructing a building.

The price of a building survey depends on the size of the building, the type of survey and the scope of investigation. Describe your property and we will prepare a quote.

A building survey is a one-off independent assessment of a building, structure or design. Owner’s supervision is continuous control during construction.
